MONTREAL — Bombardier Transportation says the head of their Central Eastern Europe region will be leaving and the responsibilities is going to be split between two separate management teams.
Michael Fohrer will take responsibility for Bombardier’s locomotives and lightweight rail vehicles segments inside the CEE region while Germar Wacker will end up head of the mainline and metros segment.
Bombardier’s Kassel, Mannheim, Zurich and Vienna sites will come under Fohrer and it is Hennigsdorf, Bautzen, Gorlitz and Vasteras sites can come under Wacker.
They replace Dieter John, who is leaving the organization in an undisclosed time. The happy couple will end up people in Bombardier Transportation’s leadership team.
Bombardier Transportation, headquartered in Berlin, is the rail-equipment division of Bombardier Inc.
